Middle and high school teachers who actively use Echoes and Reflections in their classrooms are invited to apply for the 2017 Echoes and Reflections Advanced Learning Seminar at Yad Vashem – a fully subsidized ten-day learning opportunity in Jerusalem.
Explore Israel, tour the globally acclaimed Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum, and study the Holocaust in-depth with expert scholars, while learning more about Echoes and Reflections materials and hearing from witnesses to this history. Offered from July 10-19, 2017, the seminar offers teachers the opportunity to learn with like-minded educators who share a passion and commitment to delivering accurate and meaningful Holocaust education to today’s students.  2017 Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest
ironman.creativity.edu.tw I am delighted to invite your high school students to participate in the 13th Annual International Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest from August 5 – 9, 2017! For the 13th consecutive year, the Taiwan Ministry of Education is proud to invite foreign teams to compete in this wonderful educational competition. We hope that Utah State will be able to join us to celebrate fun, knowledge and learning through participation in this English language Game. The goal of the Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest is for students to demonstrate ability and knowledge while having fun. The contest uses RPG gaming technology and hands-on activities to challenge students to creatively employ the valuable knowledge they have learned to win fabulous prizes. In addition, we can offer foreign team organizational assistance to prepare for the contest and financial assistance during the contest. Please kindly forward the enclosed information about the contest to your district consultants and have them encourage their school children to participate. Country Partner Education New Zealand Announces Latest Round of Award Winners Learn More | Contact Thirteen U.S. college students will spend the next semester receiving a world-class education, exploring stunning landscapes, and serving as Kiwi Ambassadors for future study abroad students – all with support from Education New Zealand and the New Zealand universities. Chosen among 104 applicants, four U.S. students received $2,000 each to help fund their flights to New Zealand. Seven New Zealand universities also awarded one or more $500 Excellence Awards to US study abroad students to help fund their studies as they start their semester in New Zealand this month. While studying abroad, the students will be Kiwi Ambassadors for Education New Zealand. They will share their experiences with more than 17,000 people following @studyinnewzealand on Instagram. In addition, the students will regularly update their blogs with personal stories, photos and videos highlighting their studies, cultural experiences, new friendships and outdoor adventures. For study in New Zealand starting July 2017, students can apply for the Generation Study Abroad Travel and Excellence Awards by April 30, 2017.
